The most important aspect of the ring is not it's size(CARAT) as most believe, although it is nice to receive as big a ring as possible! The CUT of the diamond you choose is one of the only things you can control. You want to make sure you pick out a stone with many correct cuts, this will result in a more "sparkly" ring for your love! Choosing a diamond in your budget with the best clarity and color is your goal.

COLOR:The color of diamonds is graded on a scale using alphabet letters from D to Z. The most important thing to remember is that the less color a diamond has, the more valuable it is. D colored diamonds are the most colorless and therefore the most valuable. 

CLARITY: Clarity ranges from F(flawless)-I3(included). Flawless diamonds are just what they seem FLAWLESS! Diamonds that are included have inclusions or flaws that are: crystals-mineral deposits trapped inside the diamonds. Clouds - small specks or hazy areas that give a milky appearance. Feathers - small cracks that are shaped like a bird's feather. The object is to choose a diamond as high on the clarity scale as your budget will allow, while still taking the other C's into account.

Whether you choose an emerald cut with side baguettes, pink diamond princess cut, a simple diamond band, or  something completely unique, take your time to make sure it is one your future fiancé will love forever!

Happy Holidays!

1st post!

It has been a very hectic, exhausting, emotional but fun past 6 months for Kerry and I. Our office is finally complete! YAY! We have painted walls and floors, hung pictures, spent hours upon hours slaving away on our IKEA furniture, and worked countless hours planning, laughing, and dreaming(with a few tears along the way) up our new business together. Our website is also finally up and looks great! Now that we are all done and ready to move forward into 2011 it was all totally worth it! Thank you to our family and friends for the support, encouragement, advice and constructive criticism that you have given us from the very beginning. We are excited to continue work on our upcoming weddings and are anxious to get more booked for the 2011 season!
